Our Mission:

The Mission of Shalimar Baptist Church is to love the Lord God and to express that love by making, nurturing, and equipping disciples of Jesus Christ in Shalimar and throughout the world.

Our Objective:

•         To be a dynamic spiritual organization empowered by the Holy Spirit to share Christ with as many people as possible in our church, community, and the world.

•         To be a worshiping fellowship, experiencing an awareness of God, recognizing His person, and responding in obedience to His leadership.

•         To work diligently toward salvation of the lost, the Christian education of the saved, the making of disciples and the promotion of the Kingdom of God on earth.

Our Statement of Faith:

The Holy Bible is the inspired word of God and is the basis for our statement of faith.  This church hereby adopts the doctrinal statement of “The Baptist Faith and Message” as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention.  We band ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ, personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation to a lost mankind.  The ordinances of the church are baptism by total immersion and the Lord’s Supper.
