Music - Tilman Singleton, Interim Music Ministry

Music is a very important part of our worship services! From being a member of the main choir or our orchestra, to joining in one of our many seasonal productions, or providing special music through our soloist and Praise Team ministries, we strive to lift up our praises to God and make that "joyful noise"!  If you are musically inclined we'd love to have you become a part of our ministry.

Student Ministry

    - Youth - John Davis, Interim Youth Minister

We are dedicated to ministering to the youth.  The program is divided into two groups: Middle School - grades 6^th - 8^th and High School - grades 9^th – 12^th.   Students experience meaningful relationships through activities such as retreats, conferences, concerts, fun fellowships, and mission projects.

    - Crossover - Jon and Sandy Kline - email

Crossover is a young Christian college group that bridges the gap from high school graduation to adulthood.  Our objective is to help young adults mature into productive, active Christian leaders.

    - Awana - Rick Stevens - email

Awana (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) for age 3 through grade 5 meets each Wednesday, 6:15 to 8:00 PM.  Awana combines fun with a solid stand on a firm foundation-with a goal of winning and training kids for Christ.  The program uses games, scripture memory, Bible and missions study to involve kids in the Word of God.  (Awana Clubs are held mid-August through May.  Summer Bible Club for children is offered June & July.)

    - Children’s Worship – Patti Stevens - email

During morning worship our 1^st - 5^rd grade children are treated to a worship celebration all their own.  This provides a great opportunity for children to hear, understand, and respond to God’s Word.

Christian Education – Denny Evans

The Sunday School program at Shalimar is committed to teaching God’s Word.  There are classes for every age group.  It is a great place to develop loving and supportive friendships.  Sunday School starts at 9 AM.

Women’s Ministry – Sandy Perez
Men’s Ministry – (position is temporally vacant)

Women’s and Men’s Ministry are missions and ministry organizations meeting needs locally and supporting efforts worldwide.  Each group promotes fellowship and outreach with a variety of special projects.
